X-Ray Technologist

Objective: To perform all diagnostic x-rays and assist in the care of patients. Greet and register patients and handle front office administrative tasks.

Reports to: Center Administrator / Physician on Duty

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to)

  • Perform all diagnostic x-rays
  • Assist nursing staff in the performance of triaging newly registered patients
  • Direct patients to available examination rooms and ensure rooms are set up based on patient initial complaint
  • Ensure each room is cleaned after each patient encounter
  • Assist with copying insurance cards and verifying co-pays
  • Restock medical supplies
  • Assist physician with patient care when requested
  • Perform general office clean up at end of day or end of shift
  • Perform POC (Point of care) diagnostic tests

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 months experience post-graduation working as a licensed X-Ray Technologist
  • Basic understanding of digital x-ray services
  • Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable to different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently

 

Staff Physician

Objective: To provide the care of patients. To assist in directing staff in the support of care of patients.

Reports to: Lead Physician

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Provide high-quality patient care
  • Manage all patient care while on shift
  • Supervise all staff while on shift
  • Collect biological specimens and process them for testing in the laboratory
  • Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed
  • Process biological specimens when needed

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible ? Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine (w/ER or UC experience)
  • Good communicator with staff, patients, and family
  • Professional appearance and attitude
  • Active and current medical licensure in state of practice
  • Active and current DEA number
  • Able to multi-task and work independently

 

Physician Assistant (PA-C)

Objective: To care for patients alongside a collaborating physician (MD or DO) during the course of open business hours.

Reports to: Collaborating Physician/Supervising Physician

Primary Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Assess patient information provided from triage, conduct patient exam/procedures, and ultimately execute on treating appropriately to resolve patient chief complaint
  • Collect biological specimens and perform testing when Medical Assistant is unable to do so
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, incision & drainage, wound care, etc.
  • Work in conjunction Medical Assistants/Collaborating physician to call back patients when deemed
  • necessary (such as results of lab or x-ray over read) and ensure patient satisfaction
  • Assist physician with patient care when requested
  • Comply with center’s medical protocols, policies and technology usage
  • Communicate effectively & meaningfully with Supervising Physician in regards to patient care and center operations

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years? experience post-graduation working as a licensed Physician Assistant in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine or Family Medicine environment
  • ACLS certification preferred
  • Understanding of the concepts of universal precautions, HIPAA and OSHA
  • Outgoing, friendly demeanor
  • Team player, excellent verbal and communication skills, adaptable to different situations, possesses excellent client interaction skills, able to multi-task and work independently.
